I was born and raised in the United States, in a small coal town called Shenandoah in northeastern PA. I received a BSc. in Psychology from the University of Scranton, PA in 1977 and began working with people with disabilities whilst also pursuing a passion for acting over several decades. I lived in Boston for 5 years and traveled to London in 1983, which soon became home and remained so until 1998.
In the UK, I studied Tarot, Numerology, Palmistry, Color Healing and Shiatsu massage, and worked in cabaret, theatre and bail/probation. In the last 10 years of my European sojourn, I was self-employed as an HIV/AIDS trainer, group-worker, workshop leader, counsellor & supervisor for statutory and voluntary organizations throughout the UK. I also co-led holistic health workshops for those living with and affected by life-threatening illness. My favorite was leading adventure therapy trips to Ireland to swim with Fungie, a wild dolphin in Dingle, County Kerry.
In the late 80’s I met Katherine Gray at a Mind-Body-Spirit Expo, and unbeknownst to me at the time, I’d found my calling. I was a client for many years, until finally in the mid-90’s I realized I wanted to be a White Light Radionics practitioner. Around that same time, I also became interested in my own therapy process and began a psychotherapy training at the Chiron Centre in West London. I trained in both disciplines for 5 years.
I felt the call of my roots in the late-90’s and relocated to Santa Fe, NM for 4 years, and then from there back east to Asheville, NC in 2001. I developed a private practice in Radionics and Psychotherapy, and as a creative outlet, also worked as a freelance actor/singer. Asheville is a magical place and my life there was good in every direction.
Fate lent a hand in 2017 and I emigrated back to the UK. My sojourn there lasted nearly 2 years and I recently relocated back to America. I look forward to living happily ever after here, but as John Lennon so clearly said…
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
....so I shall continue to work, plan and dream and see what shows up.
